Mineralogicaly 2001 started in Tucson on Jan. 28th but for Canadians it will start only in a month or so when the snow is gone and collecting begins. During the October 2000 a Miner employed at the LAB mine at Black Lake, Quebec discovered some Interesting pseudomorphs of Stelarite (?) after unknown mineral. No analysis vas done on those so I just sell them as interesting pseudomorphs. Last year we had some Beautiful Calcite's from the same area and from 120 specimens there is only 5 left. I thank you for your interest in those and for all the purchases you have made in last 12 months.
In July 2000 while on a scheduled visit to the Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, I discovered small pocket of orange Grossular Garnets. It was a dangerous spot but my friend Paul and I Managed to remove most of the specimens. Grossular is sprinkled over the green Diopside on Wolastonite and Prehnite matrix. We have few of this for sale.
